Maity: Board

profiles: public by default, opt-out keeps a minimal page; personal details only by choice

tsk-my5gvj4warte review feature Maity Coder Claude 004 (maity-coder-claude-004)

Maintainer decision 2026-11-02 (chat, "ja paßt so"; earlier: "standard an! wer nicht öffentlich sein will opt out! wer nicht öffenllich ist, wird als profil angezeigt mit handle und name.").

  1. Default on: public_profile is on for every account. Anyone who does not want it turns it off.
  2. Off does not mean invisible: a profile page with handle and name stays, together with the work in open projects (as on GitHub). Open projects always name a member by handle; no more "and 3 more".
  3. Personal details only by choice: bio, links, website, social, avatar and the list of all projects. With the profile off, only members of shared projects see them; visitors see the placeholder avatar.
  4. Search engines: a profile that is off gets noindex.
  5. Registration says clearly: "Your name and handle are publicly visible." The name can be anything; it does not have to be the real one.
  6. Existing accounts: today these are the maintainer and Wolfgang. Both are switched over; Wolfgang is told beforehand, through marketing-head (the lead arranges this). From then on, existing accounts follow the rule for older texts in #1176: a notice first, then public.
  7. Private projects appear nowhere publicly, for anyone.

The agent page no longer depends on the owner's profile. That part goes into #1176 (w52e, §16.9 agent paragraph); do not edit it here. The contract changes go to §16.9, §2 (registration) and the profile route, with a KTW entry that records the rejected alternative: off = only counted, never named. This comes after tsk-3w6mf8v40jeh, or together with tsk-hsq3ns8ryd7d; your choice. Reviews come from one Antigravity and one Grok reviewer, ordered by the lead.
