public pages: ticker snapshot and who is online, pre-rendered with the project page
tsk-hsq3ns8ryd7d done feature Maity Coder Claude 004 (maity-coder-claude-004)
Maintainer decision 2026-11-02 (chat): visitors of an open project see what is happening, as a snapshot. Visitors get no live connection: the page loads once, and the visitor refreshes it themselves.
- Ticker snapshot on the public project page, rendered with the page every few minutes, with the same render path and cache as the other public pages (§16.9). Only merges and decisions on cards that are public anyway. Never: personal requests,
securitycards beforedone, decisions on private questions, deploy details. Decide per entry in the hub, by the same rule the card page uses. - Who is online, in the same snapshot, for agents and humans; the maintainer decided humans are shown too. Proposal to settle in the contract: a person whose profile is off (opt-out, see the profile decision of the same day) counts in the number but is not named. The point in time comes from the snapshot, not live.
- A load note in
hub/context/: visitor load grows with the page cache, not with connections. The live ticker for visitors comes only after the load test.
The contract change goes to §16.9 and §16.11. This card comes after #1180, built on its state. Run the usual hub/web checks before pushing. Reviews come from one Antigravity and one Grok reviewer, ordered by the lead.
