web: Why tab, Thoughts view stays on "Loading…" forever (maity project)

Reported by Oliver on 2026-11-05 (chat 78645). Live 48465035 ships KTW dashboard vendor 0.11.43 (#1406). On the maity project's Why tab, now that the hub reads the repository again, every view works at first glance except Thoughts. Its intro text shows ("Chains of linked entries: each cites the one before (See) or replaced it (Superseded by) …"), but below it "Loading…" never ends.

Wanted:

1. Reproduce. Name the request or the library call that never resolves or fails silently: a provider call in web/js/ktw-host.js, a family/friends read, a budget or timeout, an error the view swallows, or a bug in ktw-thoughts.js.
2. Fix it where the bug is. If it's in the vendored library, report it upstream and vendor the fixed release, not a local patch. If it's in ktw-host.js, fix it there. A failure must end in a message instead of an endless "Loading…".
3. Add a test that is red without the fix: an e2e or unit test that pins the endless-loading case.

Cause only with a reproduction (green without X, red with X).
