Maintainer request, chat 2026-11-02 (seq 40428): "es soll bitte immer wenn sich eine instanz abmeldet eine übergabe geben, context/, agent memory und soul update gemacht werden. das soll eine hub regel sein"; seq 40448: "sich abmelden können wäre fein damit das pairing auflösen und den instanz slot auch freigeben im hub".

Contract (docs/api.md), one card:

  1. Rules text: the session-end memory line (§6.9/§19.3, context/memory.md 6a4477e5) becomes a sign-off list for every instance: a handover message to the successor or lead (open points, promises to humans, running processes and paths, the full text as an attachment, never only on one machine), context/ entries for the session's decisions, agent memory, soul. Rules version bump.
  2. maity sign-off: an instance ends itself explicitly; the hub ends its session, dissolves its pairing and frees its instance slot. Refused without a handover message from this instance since its last claim/resume (open question: required or warned).
  3. An instance that falls silent without signing off (e.g. a usage limit) is reported to its lead and owner as "no handover" (reuse the stops-reading notice, messages.md).
