§6/§9 PR 1: TYPE_COLORS, PALETTE and the hard-coded fallbacks become --ktw-* CSS variables; the dashboard's :root maps its own variables onto them. Snapshots unchanged.

Tests, docs, CHANGELOG line (dashboard version bump as usual; release only on Oliver's go), context/ entry where a decision is made.
