Contrast: status/evidence pills and --ktw-fg3 reach WCAG AA
tsk-qqtgdr50e6ww open
Text on status, evidence and severity pills, and the faint text colour --ktw-fg3, meets WCAG AA (4.5:1) in both themes. Oliver approved this card (req-a8c8ywjbkjst, option 1). It comes after dashboard 0.11.44.
Measured (text on the pill's ground --ktw-surface2, dark / light):
| Pill | dark | light |
|---|---|---|
| superseded | 2.68 | 2.45 |
| open | 4.81 | 2.43 |
| needs-review / inferred | (see 78220) | |
| pending | 4.49 | 2.60 |
| confirmed | 5.74 | 2.04 |
| unknown / bad | 3.57 | 3.27 |
--ktw-fg3 (#6f6f7a) reaches 3.35:1 on the dark page and 2.68:1 on surface2.
Approach:
- Same mechanism as tsk-0dg2tmp86gc1 and decision 1fbc57c9.
- Each status, evidence and severity colour gets a
-texttoken. Borders, dots, bars and the graph keep the colour itself. - Raise
fg3to AA, or split it into a text and a decoration role. Propose which. - Extend
contrast.test.mjsto every pair it measures, resolving aliases. - Update the token table in
docs/dashboard-views.md. - The context entry extends 1fbc57c9, or supersedes it.
Visible effect: in light, the pill texts get noticeably darker, and fg3 gets slightly lighter. Host note for Maity: the new tokens go into the integrator's mapping.
